Instructions to Authors
Carefully read the guidelines below before submitting your case. Acknowledgement of the receipt of your submission will be sent to the corresponding author’s e-mail address immediately upon submission. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail, please do not submit the case again, instead please contact the Scientific Secretariat at abstracts-congress@ilts.org for advice.

 

Ethical Statement
The ILTS is an international society of transplant professionals and we support the international standards of informed, uncoerced consent of organ donors and prohibitions on trafficking of organ donors for profit.
Authors should verify that presented research studies do not involve the use of material from executed prisoners or material from recipients of organs or tissues of executed prisoners.

 

Kindly note:

  • You are allowed to submit more than one case
  • There is no submission fee for case submissions
  • No data and graphic images which reveal the patient’s identity should be included
  • Faxed, e-mailed or mailed cases will not be accepted (all cases must be submitted thourgh the online abstract submission system)

 

Case Language and Length

Cases must be written in English. The maximum length allowed for a case report is 300 words. The case title, learning objectives, the author(s) or names of institutions are not included in the count of 300 words.

It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct case. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author as no editing will be done by ILTS.

 

Notifications to Case Submitters

Authors of cases selected for the session will be notified by the Abstract Team in February: case presenters will be informed about the time and date of their presentation, and will be asked to reconfirm their attendance.

 

Registration and Visa Requirements

The case presenters must register for the Congress.
