At the congress venue, on the first floor, we will have an exclusive, dedicated Poster Area including 9 ePoster terminals (55” terminals) where on-demand posters can be consulted during the Congress opening times.

Abstracts selected as ePosters will be featured in one of the ePoster presentation sessions, and on-demand in ePoster Viewing Sessions.

Please note there will be no poster boards for paper posters at the 2023 Annual Congress. All accepted posters have to be uploaded as ePosters and will be displayed/presented on the ePoster terminals.

To all ePoster presenters:

We are pleased to inform you that this year, once again, we will be working with the innovative PosterSessionOnline service to provide a complete ePoster service. All ePosters will be available both on-site and online after the Congress, ensuring their maximum exposure. A novel feature you can take advantage of is the audio recording (up to 5 minutes long) that can be submitted alongside your ePoster.

REGISTERING FOR THE CONGRESS:

Please note that the ePosters of those presenting authors NOT registered for the Congress by the final upload deadline will be removed from the program and the ePoster database.

Vanguard Moderated Best Poster Session

8 notable posters will be presented in a special ePoster session that precedes the Opening Ceremony. Three Vanguard members will be moderating the ePoster session. The ePoster presenters should be in the ePoster area at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the session in order to introduce themselves to the Moderators and to find their ePoster terminal (it will correspond to your ePoster number). The ePosters will be fixed on the screen throughout the 60 minutes of the session. Please note that the time limits of 7 minutes per ePoster will be strictly enforced. Your presentation should not be more than 5 minutes long, in order to leave at least 2 minutes for Q&A.

Selected Poster – Flash Presentations

8 selected posters and 2 surgical video posters will be presented at each of the 4 planned selected poster sessions taking place in the dedicated Poster Area on ePoster terminals. There are 5 minutes designated for each flash presentation (3 minutes’ presentation and 2 minutes’ Q&A) and 7 minutes for each surgical video (5 minutes’ video presentation and 2 minutes’ Q&A), with selected ePosters being displayed on the terminals throughout the 60-minute session. Kindly note that time limits will be strictly enforced. The ePoster presenters should be in the ePoster area at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the session in order to introduce themselves to the Moderators and to find their ePoster terminal (your terminal number will be communicated to you closer to the date).

Poster Viewing Sessions

The ePoster viewing sessions will take place on all 4 days of the Congress. Kindly note it’s not necessary to be present on all days as there is no specified presentation time for specific ePosters in the Viewing Sessions. The entire ePoster list is only placed in the Wednesday slot in the online program: this does not mean your presence is required on Wednesday. Poster authors are expected to participate in an exchange with interested participants in the ePoster area, it is up to the ePoster Presenters, when and how much they wish to be present.
